Donation Terms & Conditions

1. Donations

By making a donation, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
• You are authorized to use the payment method provided
• The donation is made voluntarily
• All information provided is accurate

2. Payment Processing

Donations are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. All amounts are in British Pounds (GBP).

3. Processing Fees

Stripe charges processing fees (approximately 2.9% + 20p for UK cards). You may choose to cover these fees so we receive the full donation amount. If you do not cover the fees, they will be deducted from your donation.

4. Recurring Donations

If you choose a monthly recurring donation:

• Your payment method will be charged automatically each month
• You will receive a receipt for each payment
• You can cancel at any time through the admin panel or by contacting us
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will not receive a refund for the current billing period

5. Refunds

We understand that mistakes can happen. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis:

• Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the donation date
• Refunds for recurring donations will cancel the subscription going forward but may not refund past payments unless there is a compelling reason
• Processing fees are non-refundable
• Refunds may take 5-10 business days to process

6. Receipts

All donations will receive an email receipt sent to the email address you provide. This receipt may be used for tax purposes. Please keep your receipt for your records.

7. Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and provide your postcode/country, we may be able to claim Gift Aid on your donation, which increases the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid eligibility is subject to UK tax regulations.

8. Use of Donations

While you may specify a campaign for your donation, all donations support our organization's mission and may be used where most needed, subject to any legal restrictions on restricted funds.

9. Disputes

If you have any concerns about your donation or believe there is an error, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.

10. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and will not share your information except as described in that policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. The updated terms will be effective from the date of publication on this page.
